Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Arrive  – Arusha

Upon arrival at the airport you will be welcomed by a Gorilla Adventure Tours safari guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha.

Day 2 – 4 : Ngorongoro

Lemala Ngorongoro is intimately set in a delightful ancient acacia forest close to the rim of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Game drives from camp may start as early as 6.15am and guests can be down among Ngorongoro’s abundant wildlife on the floor within 10-15 minutes – crucial for photographers who demand the best light conditions and well ahead of everyone else coming in.

Arrive and get comfortable at the lovely Lemala Ngorogoro Tented Camp. Relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the area and camp. Depending on your arrival time you may visit the crater today or wait for the morning.

You can enjoy the spectacular Ngorogoro Crater game drives from here on shared or on exclusive use basis. Our vehicles have charging facilities and a fridge with cold drinks. Our vehicles are driven by excellent guides who will ensure you see the best of what Ngorongoro has to offer – you’ll have an amazing day!

Other activities are Maasai Boma experience and guided rim walk.

Today you may either depart for your onwards journey or take another visit into the Crater for another amazing experience before heading onwards to your next destination.

Day 4 – 7: Serengeti National Park.

Upon arrival at Lemala Ewanjan Camp you will be greeted by staff and shown to your accommodation to get settled in. This afternoon you will have the chance to head out on your first drive in the Serengeti National Park, enjoy some sundowners then head back to the camp for dinner.

Over the next two days you will explore the famous Serengeti National Park, with game drives in a special safari vehicle. You will also have a chance to go for an optional balloon excursion which the cost for the same is advised separately.

The Seronera region of the Serengeti is an important wildlife transition zone between the southern grasslands and the northern woodlands and is renowned for its year-round game viewing due to its abundance of water in the many rivers, as well as for its large populations of resident big cats. Additionally, between April and June, and again between November and January, this area is crossed by the annual wildebeest migration, which provides always thrilling wildlife drama.​

Following breakfast this morning you will sadly bid farewell to the beautiful Lemala Ewanjan Camp as you depart with nothing but photos and fond memories.

Day 7: Flight: Serengeti – Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport.

Today you will board a flight from the closest airstrip in Serengeti and fly south to Kilimanjaro Airport.
