DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN BUJUMBURA, BURUNDI
After your arrival in Bujumbura, you will be transferred to Safari Gate Hotel. Retreat to the beach of Lake Tanganyika.

DAY 2: RUSIZI NATIONAL PARK, SNAKES PARK AND GISHORA DRUM SANCTUARY
Today we head to Rusizi National Park where you will see many birds. You will also visit the Snakes Park, La Pierre Livingstone & Stanley and the Independence hero mausoleum. Later transfer to Gitega and visit the Gishora drum sanctuary.

DAY 3: GITEGA NATIONAL MUSEUM AND KARERA WATERFALLS, SOURCE OF THE NILE
After breakfast, we will visit the Gitega National Museum with its collection of artefacts and antiquities from Burundi’s past and Mushasha – Catholic schools and the Cathedral. The trip continues to Rutana to see the amazing Karera waterfalls and later on the way back to Bujumbura, the source of Nile in Rutovu.
