Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival  – Bujumbura.

A Gorilla Adventure Tours driver guide will welcome you upon your arrival at Bujumbura airport and transfer you to a hotel already booked for you in Bujumbura City. You will then go on a tour of Bujumbura City tour and visit the Explorers Memorial, the Snake & Culture Museum, the Islam Culture Centre, City Hall, President’s Office and Lake Tanganyika. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Visit Source of River Nile.

Drive 120km to visit the site that is believed by many to be the true Source of the Nile at Rutovu. Return to Bujumbura in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Club du Lac Tanganyika Hotel on a Bed & Breakfast basis.

Day 3:  Bujumbura Cultural Experience.

This morning, we visit the Explorers Memorial, a huge rock in the Suburbs of Bujumbura commemorating the meeting between explorers John Speke and Hannington. A visit to a local general goods market, the craft centre and downtown Bujumbura. Head for lunch and later fly out.
