Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival – Kigali International Airport.
After giving you an overview of the 12 Days Safari Adventure Tour in Rwanda, our tour guide will pick you up from Kigali International Airport and take you to the Kigali Marriott Hotel, where you will check in, have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour – Transfer to Akagera National Park.
After breakfast, you will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre to learn more about Rwandan history before starting your tour of Kigali City. You’ll visit Akagera National Park, a stunning location, after lunch. Take a private boat excursion to explore the Lake Ihema scenery and see a variety of birds and aquatic life. Next, you will travel to Magashi Camp, where you will camp out and have dinner.

Day 3: Wildlife Game Drive in Akagera National Park.
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a behind-the-scenes briefing about the park’s history, the conservancy’s founding, and the animals. Following that, you will go on a wildlife game drive safari with a local ranger to see the northern region’s wild animals and birdlife. Return to Magashi Camp for the night after supper.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Akagera National Park.
You will join a local ranger for a morning wildlife drive through the northern plains of Akagera National Park following a cup of coffee. Once back at the inn, you’ll check out and have breakfast. After that, you will take a local ranger on another game drive across the northern part of the nation to see wildlife (lunch included). Proceed to Karenge Bush Camp for the night after dinner.

Day 5: Helicopter Transfer to Nyungwe National Park.
Take a leisurely flight to Nyungwe National Park in a VIP helicopter after breakfast. You will check in and have lunch at the One & Only Nyungwe House after arriving. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge. Activities including a bike trip, conservation walk, boot camp, secrets of African tea, and hilltop archery are available on the premises. Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe National Park.
After breakfast in the morning, proceed to the park office to register and get trained by your local ranger. You will go into the forest with a native ranger and porters in order to locate the chimpanzees in the rainforest. Return to the resort after lunch, and then proceed to a tea estate for high tea and tea tasting.

Day 7: Canopy Walk Experience – Helicopter Transfer to Musanze.
You will go to Uwinka Park after an early breakfast, where you can take a two-hour trek in the forest and see the 90-meter-long canopy bridge. After lunch at the Lodge, take a helicopter to Volcanoes National Park. Arrive with plenty of time for dinner and your One & Only Gorilla Nest Lodge overnight stay.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking Experience.
Before heading to the briefing at the Volcanoes National Park offices, eat breakfast early. After that, you’ll track the gorillas as you venture into the forest, and you’ll have up to an hour to view and photograph them. Before you visit the Gorilla Guardian community, lunch will be served at the One & Only Gorilla Nest Lodge. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge. Have dinner and spend the evening.

Day 9: Golden Monkey Trekking – Transfer to Lake Kivu.
You will be escorted to the Volcanoes National Park offices for an orientation on Golden Monkey Trekking after eating breakfast early in the morning. You’ll then go into the bush to search for golden monkeys after that. After your walk, you’ll visit Lake Kivu in Gisenyi. Lunch at the Kivu Serena Hotel and then spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach. You will have dinner and spend the night at the Kivu Serena Hotel.

Day 10: Lake Kivu beach – Rubavu.
